Bruce W. Heine
Senior Vice President of Public Affairs
Bruce W. Heine was named Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Sentinel Midstream in February 2026 and is responsible for public outreach and media affairs. From 2023 to 2026, he served as a consultant to Colonial Pipeline. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Magellan Midstream Partners, including Vice President of Government and Media Affairs from 2001 to 2023. In 1999, he joined The Williams Companies as Senior Manager of Governmental Affairs, supporting the Petroleum Services business units, including bioenergy, transportation and terminals, refining, retail travel centers, exploration and production, and midstream. Before joining Williams, he worked in Government Affairs and Marketing Services at Methanex Methanol Co. He has also served as the Marketing Manager and Director at New Energy Company of Indiana. Earlier in his career, Heine held management roles in a family petroleum distributorship and operated an Exxon-branded service station as a sole proprietor and dealer.
Heine earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of South Florida. He has also completed upper-level coursework at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Center for Creative Leadership, and Dale Carnegie Training and Professional Development.
Heine continues his active participation in trade associations, including the American Petroleum Institute, Liquid Energy Pipeline Association and the American Fuels & Petrochemical Manufacturers Association.
Heine was born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and continues his family’s legacy in the oil industry. He resides in Bixby, Oklahoma, and has two adult children and three grandchildren. Heine is active in the nonprofit organization Filling the Void, which provides lunches to homeless Americans, and supports other nonprofit organizations throughout Brazoria County, Texas.
